SP451 is an advanced Spanish writing course offered by the Department of Languages and Literatures in the Faculty of Arts at Wilfrid Laurier University.

In the workshop-style course, students create Editorial Boards in which they take on editorial and administrative responsibilities to publish Perspectivas, the official magazine of SP451.

The magazines feature descriptive, narrative, expository, and argumentative writings by SP451 students that have been edited through multiple rounds of peer- and instructor-review. The magazines also feature original, creative advertisements. All content is reviewed and approved for publication by their Editorial Board.
